If

a few minutes to read about these butterflies, the wait times, how they are created and
how to order them as there are some details that you will need to know.
WHAT IS AN ANGEL DUST BEACH BUTTERFLY?
I
draw and colour these Butterflies in the sand of Mullaloo Beach. Each butterfly that I
create is a completely organic mess of coloured sand dust. The dust is not unlike water colour paint, in that it bleeds
over each other with the dampness of the sand to create beautiful tones. Once the butterfly is drawn and
coloured, I place my most precious piece of clear quartz crystal in the
middle of each
butterfly to represent the body of the butterfly. I inscribe the
name of your baby, child of loved one on the wing of the butterfly. I
then take a photo, touch it up and enhance the butterfly with my editing
program and then I email you the image of the artwork in a high resolution digital
jpeg format. You may then print the image as many times as you please
and all the way up to poster size. Each butterfly is an original piece
of art that only you will own.
HOW MUCH?
Each
custom Angel Dust
Butterfly Artworkis is $49 AUS (which works out to be
around $35 USA at the moment). Paypal will advise you of what that converts to before
you confirm your payment if you are overseas. Please consider your
purchase
as I am unable to offer refunds for these images due to the amount of
time it takes to create each butterfly.
WHAT IS THE WAIT TIME?
These
artworks can take up to 2 weeks. Because the wait time is under a month, there is not wait list online like the Sunset Names. If you have waited longer than 2 weeks and not received your artwork, please email at carlymariedudley@gmail.com with the details of your order so we can make sure it gets through to you.
COLOUR CHOICES
Above is the colour number chart which allows you to choose 1 of the 12 multiple colours available. Please double click on the colour chart to enlarge its view. At the top of this page is an
example of the number 6 colour option and what it would look like with the entire butterfly.
CAN I HAVE MORE THAN ONE NAME OR MORE THAN ONE BUTTERFLY IN THE SAME PHOTO?
Just
like the "Christian" butterfly at the top of this page shows, each
Beach Butterfly allows only room and time for one singular first name only. Anymore
than one name makes the butterfly too busy as it means I have to write
the letters much smaller to fit gaps in which looks messy due to all the
sand clumps that fall around each letter. I also find there is usually
not enough time to write more than one name as the waves come in too
quickly. These butterflies stay on the beach for moments only. My
apologies to those
disappointed. If it were something that I could do I would offer it, but
it just doesn't work. If you were wanting more than one name featured
or more
than one butterfly you may want to visit the $15 Angel Dust Butterfly Gallery. They are currently half price at $7.50.
In the past two years there has only been two nights that I have been
able to get more than one angel dust butterfly drawn for the same image.
This is due to the time that it takes to draw each one and how quickly the waves come in. So
unfortunately I am unable to offer that service.
WHAT IF I DIDN'T NAME MY BABY?
You can have the butterfly on its own without a name or you are
welcome to have a nickname featured. If you have endured multiple losses
I can draw love hearts on the wings of your butterfly. Just enter the number of hearts you would like drawn into
the payment window, where I ask for your loved one's name. If you would
like no hearts or no name featured just enter "No Name" into the window
of the payment button. If you are choosing to have a name featured but
would still like to honour your babies that were not named you can have
hearts drawn on the wings too. In the ordering section where you
enter your chosen name just add "With 2 Hearts" or how ever many you
need and I will do that for you.
HOW DO I ORDER ONE?
You
can order your butterfly just below on this page. Please make a note of your paypal email as that is where I will
be
sending your butterfly. If you need to change your email you can let me
know in the "Special Instructions or Note to Seller" section of your
paypal payment. If this option doesn't come up for you please forward me
your paypal receipt with your new email address to

PLEASE CONSIDER YOUR PURCHASE CAREFULLY
Please
take the time to choose you colours carefully as I do not offer refunds
if you change your mind about the colours after the butterfly has been
created and sent to you.

INFORMATION FOR PRINTING
To ensure vibrant colours, I always advise choosing a good quality photo
lab to print your images. If you choose a cheap place to
print your images, the colours are usually not as vibrant.
When you go to print your images at a
photo lab, sometimes staff members ask for proof that the images are
yours. It is a great idea to take your paypal receipt with you full
order so that they can see that you are not breaching copyright and that
you paid for these images.
